Jordy Mande, a Congolese artist from Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, initially studied mathematics and science before turning to art. Known as Jordyctionnaire, he has gained recognition as a slam poet and comedian. In 2018, he reached the finals of the National Poetry Slam Competition organized by the United Nations Joint Office, and in 2019, he won the Best Slam Poet of Greater Katanga award.

Considered as a pioneer of slam poetry in Lubumbashi, Jordyctionnaire has developed a satirical, philosophical, and socially conscious style. He has performed multiple shows, including Vers à Volonté (2020), Leçon Orale (2022), Bienvenue dans ma têxte, and Astreterrestre (2024). His project Damn’ature was showcased at the 8th Lubumbashi Biennale. Frequently invited to festivals blending slam, dance, music, and performance arts, he has also earned recognition in comedy. Starting in 2019 at the Lubum Comedy Club, he created a stand-up act influenced by slam poetry, focusing on everyday life and social issues. In 2023, he was a semifinalist and represented the DRC at the third Mon Premier Montreux in Cotonou.
