Born in Kolwezi, June 20, 1985, Jackson BUKASA is an artist who flirts with cinema, theater and humor. He graduated in Performing Arts from the University of Lubumbashi in 2014, and has been writing and directing short films for the introductory film course taught by the eminent professor Jacky MPUNGU, since 2011. He has to his credit more than twenty short films. Since 2012, he plays as an actor in various plays and also participates in their staging.
Jackson BUKASA has also participated in several training workshops led by national and international personalities.
He is currently the coordinator of the Atelier at the Picha art and research center and at the same time plays the role of assistant curator to Lucrezia Cippitelli for the 7th edition of the Lubumbashi Biennale.
