Performance Sarah Ndele
Visual artist, Sarah Ndele lives and works in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa in 2013.

Her work questions the memory, the root and the present of education or initiation among the "Bakongo" (in the west of the DRC). The anti-colonial revolutionary and prophetess Kimpa Vita (1684-1706) is her main source of inspiration. Thus, she is conducting research into Kongo art.
She has participated in several cultural and artistic events such as the International Festival of Performance Art and Plastic Art of Togo (2022), Yango Biennale 2, International Meeting of Performers, etc. She is the author of the article "Congo: fertile trees near the source" (Multitudes 2020/4, n°81, pp. 95-99).
